The "Summer Architectural School" project is a project aimed at young people from the city who have undeveloped talents in the field of architecture and strict enrichment. The goals of the project are the challenges for young people to develop, to gain experience and ideas from their peers, other youths, mentors and specialists in the field. The different events foreseen in the project enable every young person involved in the project to present their vision for improvement and development.
The Summer School of Architecture implements various events to help young people develop their innovative ideas and adapt to the changing urban environment. Events offer diverse and varied solutions for vulnerable urban areas, uninhabited buildings, adaptation of unused urban spaces to the needs of young people. This will take place after the youngsters in the school are aware of the evolution of the urban environment from the time of the new Bulgarian history. Also know - how and good practices from other cities and countries will be used. Computer technologies and software products used in the summer school teaching methodology lead to measurability of results and the development of digital, creative, spatial and creative skills among young people in the school.
The purpose of the Summer Architectural School project is to encourage young people to develop their creative and prominent talents, to support their development, to help young artists, to meet close to the foundations of architecture and urban culture. In this way, they are given the opportunity to learn about the cultural heritage of the city, to get to know the traditions and the past, and to present their innovative point of view, as well as to develop it with the help of mentors and other participants in the project.
