The project will show the organization of events, a type of round table, presenting the latest social innovative ideas that will help young people to take part in the challenges of changing the urban environment. The topics for discussion will be broken down into several strands covering largely the rationale for the development of smart cities and giving clear guidance on how to overcome the challenge of a European dimension. These events develop capacity for local urban policies, transfer of good practices and innovation. Opportunities are given to young experts to generate their innovative ideas in the direction of transformation to smart Varna through conducting focus groups. The project is provided in two concomitant events and four round tables. The results will be public and sustainable over time.
The project will be a process aimed at the complete realization of innovative systems and projects to optimize the urban environment. Smart Varna is a workshop for innovative ideas by young specialists and experts focused on adapting the city to new management models offering solutions for a better and more comfortable city environment through innovative ideas of young professionals. Meet for meeting with ideas and users. Every socially engaged young person can participate in the parallel discussion and also be given the opportunity to receive up-to-date information on the latest trends in the technological perspectives. The project envisages 4 events in the form of a phoso group, each with a theme in different segments of the smart citie”s achievements.
In the first subject, Archi Smart will bring together young architects and urbanization specialists to discuss and present their visions of architectural and urban innovation that can be applied to Varna.
The second eco smart theme will bring together young specialists in the field of ecology. There will be discussions on improving urban cleanliness and creating successfuly models by example of other smart cities with a high environmental index.
The third «Tech Smart» theme will bring together specialists in the field of technology innovation within the smart cities theme and will be invited to lead engineers and industry leaders in the field to discuss and present their projects introduced in other smart cities.
The fourth theme "Smart City Models" will bring together specialists in the development and implementation of urban mobility models through an organization to discuss and give direction to young experts. Here the main focus is urban mobility centers sharing their experiences; Specialists from Bulgaria and Europe will be invited.
All the results of the project will be presented at a press conference and in front of local national media as well as a report of the whole project before the authorities of the local and national authorities.
The project aims to create an environment for informal meetings where a discussion will take place in which participants will have the opportunity to share their views on what we young people can bring to the development of improving the living environment in the city of Varna. To present ideas and best practices to acquaint and engage young people with the city of the future they want to live in. Encourage them to present their innovative ideas.
The events themselves are aimed at bringing about adapting to the new challenges of a changing urban environment, with the goal of youth people feeling as the active part of it.
The main objective of the project is the reservoir of ideas for the future development of Varna coming from the voice of the young people who want to stay and develop in a favorable urban environment.
The results of these events will be an innovative reservoir for the local authorities and institutions, which will form a large part of the youth capacity related to the future of Varna.

2. Creating new governance models at local and national level to improve and develop the urban environment
3. Creating public data locally to improve data access and develop new services to optimize the city.
4. Creating future digital management models to modernize and improve the Smart Varna project.
