The Young Instructors project offers professional training and instructor certificate for 18-35 year-olds practicing skateboarding and skating. Skatebirds and skates are part of modern youth cultures, which are growing more and more and gain the interest of young people, while observing a lack of training professionals in the relevant disciplines. The main idea is to provide opportunities for engagement and stimulation of young people for professional realization, by developing a training system and conducting 3 training courses for instructors. For this purpose, Skate Club Varna will organize a meeting of professionals from the Bulgarian skateboarding and skate clubs of several Bulgarian cities. Within 3 days, the specific program and methodology will be fixed with the various elements needed to obtain an instructor certificate. The next epat is to hold 2 training courses for 7 young people who will have the opportunity to acquire skateboarding and skating training in different schools in the country. The selection of candidates will be based on their skills and competences and will be determined by the pedagogical council formed by professionals in the first episode of the project. Each course lasts 5 days, with a theoretical, practical and exam part. For the practical part, the participants will have the opportunity to get into a professional environment in the Varna Sketch School "Progression". The project will promote the professional realization of 14 young people who could not afford such training or fall into another vulnerable category, with skateboard and skateboarding falling into the category of alternative ways of moving in a car-free environment.
Promoting the development of professional youth careers in the field of extreme and non-traditional sports. Increasing the motivation of young people by obtaining a legal certificate under the their favorite activity. Reach a wide range of children and adolescents through the training of motivated and legitimate instructors wishing to pursue their careers in extreme sports. One of the main goals of the project is to promote urban-vehicle mobility as a final result.
