"Development through playing" is a social project that aims to help young people at risk groups to socialize and develop communication skills, and to help young people to socialize in the city. The constant influence of digital devices has reduced the possibility of developing so-called "soft skills". The project aims to develop a field that is not so popular in Bulgaria. A series of events with a final event - a two-day festival of board games - will be realized, with the first four being held with our partners from "Nyama Nevazmozhni neshta" and in places such as "Kofrazha", The Social Tea House, Sea Garden. The festival with two-day activities contains lectures and workshops, the public will be introduced to the field of tabletop games, which is a good way to socialize out of digital networks and have an eye-to-eye contact. Participants will be able to choose whether to play or to attend lectures given by people from the industry or to participate in different workshops, it will help them to relax in a new environment, socialize with people of different ages and groups, even they may find a career opportunity for themselves. Everyone will develop skills such as logic, intuition, deduction, socialization, and they will develop creativity skills.

Description

The project contains a series of activities aimed at involving as many young people as possible. That is why we will begin with a volunteer recruitment process in Marketing and Logistics. Then the recruited teams will be trained and will begin their work. The online promotion will start at the end of June. It is planned to have five events that will begin the last week of July, each of which will be held at a key location where it can reach the project target groups. In The Social Tea house, the foundation “Niama nevazmozhny neshta”, on the stage “Kofrazha” and in the Sea garden. The final event which is the festival itself, will be a two-day event, starting with the advertising campaign, online and offline, signing partnership agreements whose negotiations have already begun. Varna Municipality has already submitted applications for land granting, which facilitates the work of the team and ensures the venue. All activities take up a period of three months. The work on the festival includes, besides a massive advertising campaign also the arrangement of tables, chairs, stands and stationery necessary for the organization of the festival. The day before the big event, the logistics team will arrange the venue, meet all the non-city partners and take them to their hotel, also to the venue, instruct them and give them Instructions. On the day of the festival all teams will take care of the event. There will be volunteers who will be responsible for explaining games, targeting visitors, distributing teams for workshops and making visitor statistics. The second day of the festival will repeat the activities of the first day. After the festival the necessary reports will be made and will be handed over to Varna Municipality.The project team will work on its sustainability by planning and organizing other events after it.

Target

The project aims to develop young people in Varna and to develop qualities that are difficult to unlock in another environment, namely exit from the comfort zone, the possibility of dating outside the Internet and acquiring new skills. Young people have the ability to develop qualities such as intuition, logic, deduction, socialization, and creativity. The project aims to bring people out of the current digital, technological world and make the guests of the event spend more time communicating with each other. Young people at risk groups will improve their communication skills and socialize in society. Through the various lecture panels everyone will have the opportunity to acquire skills in creating board games as well as their realization in business. The workshop for board games will have a competitive character. The winners of this workshop will be awarded the opportunity to publish and popularize their game, which will be distributed in "Varna Games". Guest lecturers, creators and game artists, are set to show that the transformation of the idea into reality is quite possible. Different activities will enable you to realize that each space can be interactive and even everyday routine is not an obstacle. The aim of the project is to help integrate young people who are socially disadvantaged, belong to minorities or have health problems, and help disabled young people become socialized in society and improve their communication skills.
