Four Mentors from youth volunteer group “Pink glasses” will visit the biggest european conference “European Regions Week” in Brussels between 9th and 11th of October. All 4 of our Mentors are approved for their desired lectures and workshops and they have confirmation among hundreds candidates. Our team has chosen topic on social innovations and urban development, which are one of our targets for developing and modifying our activities and make them more sustainable.
The project aims to support Dimitar Petkov and 3 other mentors from the non-formal youth group "Pink glasses" to visit lectures and workshops during "European Regions Week" which will take place on 9-12 of October in Brussels. After communicating our intentions with Mr. Emil Radev, Bulgarian European Parliament representative, we managed to provide travel tickets and accommodation in Brussels but we are still lacking of money for subsistence money and this is the main reason for writing this project. During the "EU Regions Week" over 4000 peoples share knowledge and know-how on different topics such as: education, social innovations, tourism, art and culture, urban development, etc. This event is a platform for volunteers, politicians and active citizens and we don't have information for participation of other Bulgarians so far. Surely, We will represent Bulgaria but also for us it is of great importance to be there in order to see how we can develop and higher the quality of our activities.
