The project “Be Multi-Culinary” will familiarize the young people of Varna with the European multicultural culinary heritage. Young people will be involved in culinary workshops, and a web platform will engage all former European Youth Capitals to exhibit their cultural diversity via culinary videos.
The space of the Youth Volunteer Consultative Center in Vladislav Varnenchik housing area will be transformed into a culinary workshop. The Greek project partner will organize days of the Greek Cousine with chefs from Greece, and the restaurant “Sen Tropez” in Varna will organize French culinary workshops. All former European Youth Capitals will be invited to upload videos on making local culinary specialties at the project website. The project will complete with a round table of youth volunteer centers in Varna and Varna European Youth Capital Foundation. The project will involve over 20 direct participants in the culinary workshops and over 600 indirect beneficiaries: parents, friends and volunteers from the Varna youth centers. It will raise awareness of the multiculinary heritage of Europe and will build acceptance of diversity and multiculturalism.
