Varna ReCulture is a project initiated by the Social Teahouse team. This is one of the tools we would like to use to contribute to reinventing the new type of youth society – fulfilled with tolerance, responsibility, ready to take action and open to new ideas and knowledge.
Varna reCulture is part of the Social Teahouse annual program, which aims to provide well-balanced, interactive youth program with number of various events. Our selection of events is dedicated to different aspects of youth development – urban memory and cultural heritage, board and strategic games night, sustainable living discussions, entrepreneurship, platform for sharing travelling experience, gathering of positive role models, etc. These meetings and events would enrich cultural awareness and social contacts of the participants and also would contribute to their knowledge of how to use their resources smarter. The Social Teahouse works exclusively with youngsters raised in orphanages and makes easy their access to cultural and social gatherings. The ex-orphans would have the chance to get in touch and communicate with proactive and positive youth society in a sheltered environment.
The airm of Varna ReCulture is to offer interacitve, innovative and invlusive environment for learning and sharing via social events and creative discussions. All events organized in the frame of the project promote social innovations, multiculturalism and creating new social connections between marginalized and mainstream youth. The overall aim of the proposed program is to encourage dialogue and contribution to civic processes by empowerment.
