The project is an activity that will bring together 60 youth workers from Varna in order to explore employability of young people, inclusion, soft skills, young people with fewer opportunities and how it is searched in various sectors of life.
The EU is working to reduce youth unemployment because youth unemployment rate is more than twice as high as the adult one. In December 2016, 4.634 million young persons (under 25) were unemployed in the EU28 (Eurostat). So youth unemployment is a European problem and each country has to start from a small level (local level) to a bigger level (national level) in order to make something change. Together Romania Association (TRA) and Beehive Co-working Space Varna are vocational training providers in local youth centers, active in the field of research on labour market and pedagogic innovation, as well as in the promotion of transnational cooperation on technical education and training. Based in our successful experience in the field of labour market and training we thought to organize this training course in order to train youth workers to develop concrete practices to help employability skills for themselves and for youngsters with fewer opportunities.
The main aim is to increase competencies of youth leaders/workers who are working with youngsters with fewer opportunities
