The "XI International Workshop-Competition “Man and Nature "Varna 2017" aims to continue the achievements of previous editions of the same workshop and foster greater dialogue between different groups of young people by the expression means of art. In the workshop will participate artists (from 15 to 22-years-old) from Varna, St. Petersburg, Minsk and sister city of Varna - Kharkov (Ukraine).
The pre-project preparation starts in March 2017 and ends in late September. It includes:
Activity 1: Exchange of letters and phone calls with partners-participants in the forum, negotiations with the manager of the hotel "Preslav" complex "Golden Sands" and the manager of the transport company "Strandja" about transportation and accommodation of participants in the workshop, keeping the correspondence under the patronage of the Mayor of Varna Mr. Ivan Portnih for providing visas, purchase of materials and supplies needed for the creative process, logistics, accommodation of the participants in the workshop.
Activity 2: Conducting the workshop /according to a separate schedule/. During the workshop three creative excursions will be implemented - to Aladzha Monastery, Balchik and Kaliakra. The sketches made from the observation on site, later on will be painted into pictures at the creative base.
The main objective of the project is to create and expand the creative and cultural contacts between young talents from the four Slavic countries - Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Bulgaria.
